The Second World War

Evacuee School Room
The newly arrived evacuees will be introduced to their new surroundings, given some of the items such as rations cards and gas masks they need for their stay and taught some lessons.  Interspersed with gas mask and stirrup pump drill they will make their own exercise books and use slates when not chanting their tables.  Following the lesson will be an evaluation of the experience.

Suitcase Game
In the darkness of war days, many items were left on trains.  Some of these have been given to the local head teacher to see if he or she can find the owners from clues provided by the objects.  The head enlists the help of the newly arrived evacuees.
